This app will blow your mind

update: multitasking is so SWEET! I was able to get this app, touch DJ, and thumbjam all playing SIMULTAINIOUSLY! Diggity dang! Thanks for the update! Wish my td12 would turn into a td20 overnight randomly someday :) love the bpm drop-- I will use that.. The 4db drop might fix some Bluetooth issues ( that many, many, apps have..) and keep fools like me from blowing their tiny speakers out on their iPhones (like I did after the last upgrade..) Update: new features make this app SOOO much MORE awesome thank you dev-- I loved it before now I just cant get enough! This app was 8 now at half the price I cant believe what you can do. If you like techo, gabber, breakcore, industrial you must own this app and learn to use it. ----Latest Update: I really like the audiopaste, and upgraded the LFO.. But wow can we bring back the original delay panel? The dials are really a step backward from the way I used to use this program! I like to work the delay live..

Midi awesomeness

Like MoDrum and FunkBox, this app will turn your phone into a flexible midi tool in the studio. Works amazingly well, use it on a track with a vst like Zebra or Sylenth and it will surely impress you. Thanks devs keep up the great work!

Perfect!

I was having issues with the previous file management system where I would select a template and it would auto ask me to rename it and if I didnt rename it it wouldnt load. After using the new system for selecting files/templates I now can better understand that before by renaming the template I was essentially making a copy of the selected template with my own name for the file. I was under the impression that I couldnt load the previous templates and it was a bug. On to the update. The app uses a more traditional on screen way to select files now and it keeps you in the main screen the entire time. This is a great thing as now you dont have to back out to a project screen to select projects. The new template/samples are good and really show users how to get some cool "bassline" slides. I appreciate the update,it shows that the developer is constantly trying to keep his app relevant and fresh. Lastly I would like to add that I was only able to find the update notice by browsing through a appshopper app. Meaning that apples update icon at the bottom of my screen showed all apps up to date. Only after I manually went to the bassline app page did I even see the app was updatable. I have had this issue before when garage band updated and I hope this is not the future of updates. I have not seen a update for a while now, when I would see them daily. Perhaps it might be best to go through my apps and check the update status. Hopefully this is just a weird coincidence and not going to be a bug. Maybe apple is working out updates through the cloud and this is just a glitch to be worked out.

Awesome app

I love this app its simple to use , especially compared to s lot if the music apps that take weeks to try understand , you can get sweet sounds on this and a good variety , its reminds me of techno box and rebirth which are similar really cool sounds east to get and really fun for low tech types like me who have a hard time with a lot if the sequencer and tracker music apps . Anyways, this is one of my favorites , its killer

Needs More Feedback From Users

I bought it because the description says the Gorillaz used it. I need a bass synth bad. I dont like to post negative reviews, so I hope future updates have me coming back to change my story, but for the sake of others wanting to jam on this thing: When I opened the app it would not function unless I rotated the iPad. It complained about orientation while I was searching for the way to solo with it. I dont know why it couldnt just open up to a screen that made sound when you hit buttons. The whole experience of having to re-arrange my guitar-mount rig so it would be in the right orientation then not being able to *play* it like a live instrument has me thinking that the developer must not have had any solid examination from users. The "please rotate" dialogue is lame novelty at best and makes me feel like a monkey being trained. I would gladly re-review when this is ready to rock on-stage.

Best $2 synth app there is.

Sequencer is simple to use. I would love if they added a flanger effect. Sounds great. I got this on the half off sale. Happy customer.

great app

please add support for akai synthstation 25

Sound quality

Thin

Finger bassline

This app is great, easy to learn and use. Sound is real clean for recording samples or loops onto a DAW or just freestyle jammin with your favorite drum machine.

its got its perks..

the sound/effects are weak, and dont mix well. its just sad. usbmidi is good. only 4 pattern save spots at a time,(itd be nicer if there were 5). good user interface. accelerator seriously needs on/off, because sometimes i dont want to solo with a sad bassline sound. could use more effects. clock timing is sometimes a pain when working with other apps, no major setbacks. keyboard buttons need to be bigger (not that im clumsy). needs ability to copy/paste from patterns to patterns and into other sessions. overall functionality is pretty solid. good visuals. not my favorite baseline app, but of course, realy good to have.

Best synth bass sound

This app is designed to imitate old hardware bass synth modules. It seems so to that well but the main thing I wanted from this app was a good synth bass sound to use with iFretless and Geo Synth as the midi controller apps. It really delivers in that area. Background MIDI works well and the portamento slides smoothly between notes instead of changing pitch in audible little increments like most other iOS synth portamentos. I have a lot of iOS synths: sunrizer, nlog, Cassini, bs-16i, sampleTank, arctic, addictive, animoog, and several others. For fat synthy bass sounds, this is my first choice.

Masshound1

I bought a lot of music apps in my time but this one has no purpose. I really have to say sorry to the developers because I do respect them for what they do but this app just does not cut it as a music app.

Real nice acid box emulation

I rate this a #2 on sounding like a 303 bassline machine app. #1 is Rebirth & #3 is TechnoBox2. Ive been using this long enough on my iPhone 3G and now my iPhone 5.

Sounds great!

Ive been using BassLine for quite a while now and I get consistently great results from it. Add Audiobus support and youll have a six star app!

Hot Garbage

Funky bass isnt going to happen with this app.

Fun, playable, faithful 303 Emulation

Versatile, this app is not. But then neither was the 303, the backbone sound of acid house and early techno. If you want variety look elsewhere.

Bass-ic needs filled...

This app is perfect for coming up with quick, cool bass lines. Running it through Audiobus with effects and recording helps to set up your bottom end and it is simple enough.

303 Acid And Beyond

BassLine is the first App / Module / Plug In / software thats not made me miss my actual 303. The programming is close enough to the 303s to make an effortless jump between the two and the X/Y controls over Frequency and Envelope are utterly fantastic. This is a very usable app and super fun to work with. My only complaint is that the app itself cant record said X/Y parameter manipulations (which would be so so wonderful) But BassLine does have Audiobus so with an extra step or two we can record all the manual tweaking we want - just like with a 303. Fantastic App.

Doesnt work

The bass does not sound like bass at all. This app is stupid

Doesnt sound like bass at all

Terrible sound and cant play in real time
