Turn your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch into a bass synth and start rolling your own grooves with the unique sound of the legendary TB-303, the trademark of Acid House that influenced many different styles of electronic music!

BassLine is a virtual analogue bass synthesizer with built-in step sequencer and on-board effects. Its unique low-pass filter allows to produce the well known high-resonance filter sweeps, that are typical for vintage synths like the legendary TB-303.

Feature List:

• Monophonic synthesis engine including a never self-oscillating, cascaded low-pass filter

• Four oscillator waveforms (sawtooth, square, pulse, and saw/triangle)

• Low frequency oscillator (LFO) for cutoff modulation

• Overdrive with tube-like distortion characteristic

• Tape echo effect with tempo-synchronous delay times

• Individual pattern lengths & downbeat-aligned switches

• Gated sequencer mode with real-time pattern transposition

• Pattern randomizer

• Play in time with Ableton Link

• Audiobus support, including state saving

• Inter-App Audio (Generator mode) with host transport sync support

• WAVE file sharing via "Open In...", Pasteboard, and iTunes File Sharing

• Background Audio with battery-saving Auto Standby

• MIDI Clock sync/generate

• MIDI Note in/out

• MIDI CC in/out

• Including twenty Acid basslines by DJ/producer Myagi (www.popandlockrecords.com)

• Project file access through iTunes

• Universal support for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch

Pros and cons of BassLine - Analog Modeling Synthesizer app for iPhone and iPad

BassLine - Analog Modeling Synthesizer app good for

excellent application for bassline creation - ease of use and great sound - sober graphics
Greetings! I am Dj and I use 2 iPads in my presentations. It would like that it made an update so that I can make backup of all the sounds to be lowered in another  device, in the same way as iKaossilator. Please!
best sounding 303 out there for the itouch with smart GUI , not like the traditional hardware-lookalike we usually see.
good app but I think 2 knobs for frequency and resonance would be better to use. which is now inaccurate . and one more thing , from which velocity value works the accent when I bassline steer with Cubase ?
Sounds great, best MIDI support I ever saw in any App (sync to external gear, also to MoDrum, and input from a keyboard). Very intuitive. With effects. Everythings just perfect and the sound really pumping pushes, squelches, tweets ...
Great APP!! What its missing is a simple representation of TR-909 to make kick and hats and claps samples for basslines and perhaps a distortion effect in later updates! If this could be done this App would deserve 30 stars!! Great idea and well done!

Some bad moments

One of my favorite music apps. No turning knobs or switches to to change waveform or filters. Just move your finger around. Great job!
Impressive app and worth the money -- especially if youre into Roland gear. Hats off to the developer(s) for a great reproduction in sound and to the user experience desiger for an easy to use and fun interface. If youre taking suggestions...would love some FX and 909 sounds/sequencer. Still great app, thanks for the effort.
Any way to record the tweaks in frequency response and envelope live then play the loop back to have those tweaks automate themselves?
Awesome! Now I can work on tb-303 patterns on the iphone and then transfer them to the real box. Interface is very good looking and the application works smoothly. The sound is good, but nothing is like the real box. I would like to see random pattern/accent/slide (all or some) generator and maybe a simple delay/reverb. Maybe a wifi/bluetooth midi/din sync... maybe one day! If you are into creating electronic music, this software is well worth the money and it is not a toy. Hats off to the developers and I look forward to new features and the updates.
Really smooth, solid, great sounding app! Awesome for sketching song parts while youre away from your gear. Saving patterns is my favorite part of this, there seems to be unlimited save space! Only problem Ive had is changing bpm. Do I really have to write everything in relation to 140 bpm, or am I missing something glaringly easy?Add some drum sounds/sequencing and youre totally cooking. Recommended!
Interface is extremely well laid out, if you enjoy making beats, pick this up.
